Stillingsbeskrivelse

We're hiring several experienced a la carte chefs for season and permanent positions across Norway. Work starts as soon as possible, with current openings in various destinations across Norway — most of them outside the larger cities, surrounded by fjords, mountains, and coast.

Many of these positions start as a season but easily convert to long-term, permanent contracts for the right person — one of the most stable routes into long-term work in Norwegian hospitality.

About the role

You'll cook in a high-skilled international team, serving local Nordic food made from the best seasonal ingredients with a touch of European technique. The kitchens we recruit for value craft, presentation, and consistency — the standard that brings guests back.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare a la carte dishes to a high standard, from scratch

  • Plate and present at fine dining or high a la carte level

  • Work closely with international colleagues across the kitchen brigade

  • Maintain consistent quality through busy services

Stillingskrav

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in higher-level a la carte restaurants

  • Confidence preparing well-presented, good-quality dishes independently

  • Knowledge of French, American, or fine dining cuisines — Nordic or Norwegian cuisine experience is a strong asset

  • Strong English (the team is international and English is the daily working language)

  • EU/EEA citizenship or a valid right to work in Norway

  • Available to start immediately or near-immediately

  • Open to relocating to often-rural Norwegian destinations

What we offer:

  • Gross salary starting from 43,000 NOK/month, with more depending on experience

  • Accommodation provided for a small fee at most locations
