🇳🇴 À la carte chefs - Norway (multiple locations, quick start)

We are looking for several experienced à la carte chefs for seasonal and permanent positions in various parts of Norway. Work starts as soon as possible, and we have open positions in various locations in Norway — most outside major cities, surrounded by fjords, mountains, and coastlines.

Many positions start as seasonal but easily transition to long-term, permanent contracts for the right person — one of the most stable paths to long-term work in the Norwegian hotel and restaurant industry.

About the role

You will work in an international and high-quality kitchen team that prepares local Nordic food from the best seasonal ingredients, with a European touch. The kitchens we recruit for value professionalism, presentation, and consistency — the standard that keeps guests coming back.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing à la carte dishes to a high standard from start to finish

• Food presentation according to fine dining or high à la carte standards

• Close collaboration with international colleagues in the kitchen brigade

• Maintaining consistent quality during busy services.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience from high-quality à la carte restaurants

• Ability to independently prepare visually appealing, high-quality dishes

• Knowledge of French, American, or fine dining cuisine — experience with Nordic or Norwegian cuisine is a strong advantage

• Strong proficiency in English (the team is international, and English is the daily working language)

• EU/EEA citizenship or valid right to work in Norway

• Availability to start immediately or very soon

• Open to relocating to rural locations in Norway

What we offer:

• Gross salary starting from 43,000 NOK/month, more depending on experience

• Accommodation available for a small fee in most locations

• Direct employment contract with the hotel or restaurant

• Seasonal work with a strong possibility of becoming permanent
