🇳🇴 À la carte chefs — Norway (multiple locations, quick start)

We are looking for several experienced à la carte chefs for seasonal and permanent positions throughout Norway. Work starts as soon as possible, with available positions at different destinations around Norway — most outside the major cities, surrounded by fjords, mountains, and coastlines.

Many positions start as seasonal work but easily transition to long-term, permanent contracts for the right person — one of the most stable paths into long-term work in the Norwegian hotel and restaurant industry.

About the role

You will work in an international and highly skilled kitchen team, where local Nordic food is prepared from the best seasonal ingredients with a European influence. The kitchens we recruit for value craftsmanship, presentation, and consistency — the standard that keeps guests coming back.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-level à la carte dishes from scratch

• Plate and present food at fine dining or high à la carte levels

• Work closely with international colleagues throughout the kitchen brigade

• Contribute to consistent quality during intense services

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 2 years of experience from high-level à la carte restaurants

• Comfortable preparing well-presented, quality dishes independently

• Familiarity with French, American, or fine dining cuisine — experience with Nordic or Norwegian cuisine is a big plus

• Good English (the team is international, and English is the daily working language)

• EU/EEA citizenship or valid right to work in Norway

• Available for immediate or near-immediate start

• Open to relocating to rural Norwegian destinations

We offer:

• Gross salary from 43,000 NOK/month, more depending on experience

• Accommodation for a small fee in most locations

• Direct employment with the hotel or restaurant

• Seasonal position with a high chance of transitioning to permanent employment
