Job description

About the job

We are recruiting on behalf of an established Norwegian plastics fabrication company that specialises in PE/PP process piping, tanks and skid/module fabrication for industrial and aquaculture customers. The company is looking for 2 PE/PP welders / thermoplastic fabricators for permanent employment, starting as soon as possible, ideally in October or November 2026.

Two positions

  • Position 1 (senior): An experienced thermoplastic fabricator / PE-PP welder who can also act as a working foreman. You speak good English, read drawings, plan the work, document welding activity and guide other welders. There is room to grow into fabrication planning, quality assurance and FAT preparation.

  • Position 2: A strong PE/PP welder / fabricator with the potential and motivation to develop further.

The work

The work is mainly workshop fabrication, but you must be willing to travel for site installation and project work in Norway and possibly abroad. Workshop work follows ordinary working hours, while project-based rotations may apply for site work. The employer covers travel and accommodation for off-site work and helps relocating employees with practical arrangements and local accommodation.

We offer

  • Permanent employment in Norway

  • Approx. NOK 280–300 per hour gross, depending on documented competence, certificates, experience and independence

  • Travel and accommodation covered for off-site work

  • Help with relocation and local accommodation

Selection process

  1. Interview about your experience, certificates, previous projects, pipe dimensions, welding methods, English and drawing reading.

  2. Practical competence test: butt fusion weld, electrofusion weld preparation, assessment of welding parameters and quality, drawing reading, and extrusion welding if you list this skill.

Candidates living outside Norway take the practical test locally before relocating.

How to apply

Apply through the form with your CV and copies of your welding certificates.
