🇳🇴 Resort Manager's Assistant — glass cabins resort, Tromsø (With EU permits only!)

Looking for a hands-on, people-focused operations leader to support the daily running of a glass cabin resort just outside Tromsø in Arctic Norway. The role splits roughly 40% in-office and 60% on-site (in shifts) — equal parts coordinator, supervisor, and host.

About the role

You'll work alongside the Resort Manager to keep the resort running smoothly across reservations, team scheduling, guest experience, and facility upkeep. The setup is genuinely remote in character — small team, high guest expectations, Arctic conditions — so the work is dynamic, varied, and best suited to someone who enjoys both the planning side and the on-the-floor side of hospitality.

What you'll do

• Support the Resort Manager with daily operations, reservations, and operational planning

• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling — supervise the team on-shift to keep the guest experience consistent

• Oversee maintenance and presentation of the resort's facilities to the standard the brand promises

• Uphold the resort's commitment to memorable guest experiences — from aurora alerts to personalized touches

• Step into hands-on operational work alongside the team when needed

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in hospitality operations or administration — assistant manager, operations coordinator, or similar

• Natural people leadership: leading by example, calm under pressure, genuinely cares about both the guest and the team

• Strong organizational skills — able to manage multiple workstreams in parallel

• Adaptability and willingness to roll your sleeves up in a small-team resort setting

• Fluent English; Norwegian or Swedish is a plus, not a requirement

• EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit for Norway.

• Salary from 50,000 NOK/month gross, negotiable based on experience
